Life has been a bit trash at the moment, so when searching for things to redraw I found these old sprites I made for what was going to be an Invader Zim fan game years ago. Never got very far with it but hey.

They made me smile and idk I think they still look pretty cute so Imma dump them here cos I can. Enjoy!

I find it really amusing how back when the game first came out (although maybe not as much anymore i think and thank god for that) the fandom kind of collectively decided to infantilize papyrus, which was at least partially due to “peek-a-boo with fluffy bunny” being one of his favorite books (and also very likely due to him being very autism coded but let’s not go there in this post)

now, due to the nature of the internet, i’d wager many of these people were/are anime fans. and here’s what papyrus canonically has to say about anime:

So I found out that July 13th is both Papyrus Day and Dashcon’s anniversary, and I had the idea to draw something for both. Have Papyrus stuck in the ball pit. :D

I made two Undertale AU OCs, both of them AU versions of Papyrus, and recently finished making their profiles. 

These are Terrors and Mezmer, two Papyri who travel the Undertale Multiverse together. They’re from different universes but are still best friends.

I’ll be drawing more of them and expanding on their backstories. I also plan to include them in Universal Constant (Undertale Multiverse comic series I’m working on) at some point. :D

I was listening to Mother Mother’s “Jump the Fence” and took it literally. 

They’re so busy running from…something (?) that they’re about to cross over into a military testing site. Truly the dumbest of idiots, and I love them.
